Blue collar textiles is owned and operated by myself, Tyler, in Red Deer AB, Canada. While mostly making one of a kind custom orders, BCT has expanded to making small run apparel, textiles using recycled/up cycled materials and automotive upholstery. All products are made by my hands, designed by me. Focussing on simple designs, made to last. Blue Collar started off as an homage to the blue collar workers - originally starting with aprons. I believe in hard working textiles that last; and recognizing that each piece deserves a personal touch and unique purpose.
My experience with automotive upholstery has brought a respect to attention to detail and quality of products and materials. Every stitch matters, every design serves a purpose. Building products that grow with the user, and that wear well as years go on.
